About the Authors:
Creg Stephenson grew up in Mississippi in a family of Crimson Tide fans and quickly realized that the University of Alabama was his only logical choice for college. He graduated in 1996 and has covered the team as a journalist since then, including a four-year stint as the Crimson Tide beat writer for the Anniston Star. He is currently a sportswriter for The Mississippi Press in Pascagoula.
Kirk McNair is the founder of ‘Bama magazine and BamaMag.com, which he started in 1979 after serving as sports information director at the University of Alabama. He has won national awards for both sports information and sportswriting. He is the former president of the National Collegiate Sportswriters and Alabama Sportswriters associations.
